Another good activity week last week, see the photos in the gallery and more details of our sporting succeeses in the blog.  Youth back on from Wednesday and Thursday this week, and hopefully open every session until Christamas now.

I am hoping to start evening sessions up again next week (w/c 5th September) but keep an eye on the facebook page for latest news.

Hi everyone, due to lack of numbers (you all seem to be on holiday!!) we have decided to to cancel this summer's residential trip. This is a real shame as they are great events, so we will have to try and make sure we support the next one or they may stop happening. Let me know if anyone has any thoughts, eg best time to hold them etc.

The youth club is now broken up for the summer, there will be no more evening sessions until September.

The Activity Programme is running, and you can still contact me in all the normal ways regarding that.

If I don't see you, enjoy your break and I look forward to seeing you all in a few weeks.

Here are details for the Activities coming up between now and during the Summer Holidays.  I will start recruting for these after Half Term to try and avoid last minute rushes.

Wild Camp:  25/26th June - Spend the shortest night (or closest Saturday to) in the wilds of the peaks, fending for ourselves!

Girls Activity Day:  (re-arranged) Date TBA - A day of games, activities and workshops for young ladies.

Boys Activity Day:  26th July - A day of sports, games and activities just for the lads.

Rounders & BBQ:  27th July - Rounders and other outdoor games followed by a BBQ (British Summer permititng!)

Outdoor Lazer-Tag:  28th July - Combat style team lazer-tag, like Paintballing but without the pain!

Senior Residential:  29th July-1st August - A long weekend of Outdoor activities and fun at Ormside Mill in the Pennines

Kayaking/Watersports:  9th August - Kayaking and outdoor games at Rother Valley

Footgolf:  10th August - Try the UK's fastest growing sport (apparently!!), football meets golf. 

Pleasure Island:  11th August - A fun and fitting end to the Summer Activities with the thrills and spills at Pleasure Island, Cleethorpes

Well done to everyone involved in the Graffiti Art Project, not just those who painted it, but the young people at Juniors and Seniors who made the templates, it looks fantastic (see photos in the gallery).  A massive thank you to Dave and Phil who gave up their time and expertise to complete the project.

The project has been nominated for an award at Sheffield Hallam University's Faculty Team Awards 2016
